Varisu Box Office Collection Day 2: Kollywood superstar Thalapathy Vijay’s latest release Varisu has finally hit the theatres. With this film, Tamil cinema superstar Vijay made his debut in the Telugu film industry. Thalapathy Vijay starrer film Varisu is directed by Telugu film director Vamsi Peddupalli. Actress Rashmika Mandanna is in the lead role in the film. Makers released this film in Telugu language as well as in Tamil. Thalapathy Vijay has a huge dominance in Tamil cinema. Despite this, this film of superstar Vijay is now crawling at the Tamil Nadu box office. Superstar Vijay’s film earned Rs 19.43 crore on the first day at the Tamil Nadu box office. So there has been a huge drop in the film’s earnings on the second day.
Varisu flopped at the box office on the second day
Thalapathy Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna starrer film Varisu The latest earnings report that has come in front of us is giving a similar indication. According to a tweet by trade expert Manobalan Vijayabalan, the film has earned only Rs 8.75 crore from Tamil cinemas on the second day. After which in two days the film could earn only Rs 28.10 crore from Tamil Nadu alone. Whereas, some media reports claim that the film has earned around Rs 80 crores worldwide within two days.
Warisu has earned 80 crores worldwide
According to a report in ETimes, the film had earned around Rs 35-40 crores worldwide on the first day. Whereas on the second day also the pace of earning of the film has remained the same. Because of which the film has earned around Rs 40 crores worldwide on the second day as well. With this, the total earning of the film has been around Rs 80 crore till now.
Varisu has been released in Hindi as well.
Thalapathy Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna starrer film Varisu is now releasing in Hindi as well. The film has reached the theaters on January 13 itself. Thalapathy Vijay does not have a special fan following in the Hindi belt. It will be interesting to see how this film performs in Hindi theatres.
