Bollywood celebrities have also expressed happiness over this decision of BCCI. Actually, BCCI has decided to pay equal fees to female and male players. The BCCI has given this historic decision on Thursday. This information has been tweeted by BCCI Secretary Jay Shah.
Indian women and men cricketers will get equal fees
jay shah He tweeted, ‘I am happy to share that BCCI is taking the first step towards eradicating bias. We are implementing the same match fee policy for contracted women as well. In the new era of gender equality in Indian cricket, we will give equal match fees to men and women. BCCI women cricketers will also now get the same fee for Test (Rs 15 lakh), ODI (Rs 6 lakh) and T20 (Rs 3 lakh) matches. Equal fees was my commitment to women cricketers. I thank the Apex Council for its support. Jai Hind.’

After this decision of BCCI, Bollywood stars have appreciated. Shahrukh Khan Re-tweeting Jay Shah’s tweet, wrote, ‘What a great front foot shot. The game has to be an equalizer like this (in more ways than one). Hope this step will open the way for others.
