30 percent subsidy will be available for shooting films in Thailand
The government of Thailand has further increased the subsidy on shooting to bring foreign filmmakers to the country. The government has decided that up to 30 per cent of the production cost will be subsidized if a film or series is shot in Thailand. Till now there is a discount of 15 per cent on shooting in Thailand. Thai government spokesman Taisaranakul said the changes were recommended by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports.
